CHECKLIST FOR YOUR BATHROOM RENOVATION

Day:____________ Date:___________ Time:___________

If we have scheduled an install and you will be leaving, please be home to meet the installer at the appointed time- unless other arrangements have been made. We need to be sure accessory placement, tile setting, etc. are determined by you. Plus, the balance is due in full at completion. Payment can be entrusted to the installer, who has your invoice, warranty and cleaning instructions.

If you are doing other remodeling in the bathroom, such as window replacement, new wallpaper or painting- be sure it is completed prior to our installation.

If your faucet is being replaced, plan on the water being off for 1-3 hours. If a new valve is being installed by others, they should be placed 1/4" beyond your existing tile or wall.

Existing shower doors need to be adjustable 1/2" narrower than the present opening. If you are reusing your door, the day of the installation may be a good day to do a super cleaning job!

Remove soap, shampoo bottle, towels and incidentals from the bath area, vanity surface and vanity (or such areas being updated). If possible, scrub the tub and walls with an abrasive cleanser to remove soap film. The installer will treat the area with a mildewcide prior to installation.

On rainy, or below 55 degree, days the installer will need a place to cut. Normally, this is done outside, in such weather a basement or garage is needed. Please stay aware of this as your installation date approaches.

Please keep children and pets away from the bathroom and cutting area. There are sharp blades, electric tools, and heavy objects that may look enticing while the installer is in another area.

If we encounter damage or deterioration at the drain, behind a wall, or at the toilet, additional work may be necessary. This will be done only with your approval. However, it may delay a completion. Our installers are trained to look for potential problems and will make certain the bath will be usable even if more work will be done on another day.

If you have any questions, just call! We look forward to making your bath brand-new!
